What do we perform?
A specialized instrument with a camera is inserted via the urethra to remove the excess prostate that blocks the urine flow. It does not require incisions. Later, we can observe and analyze the excess tissue.

- Preparation

The doctor must study your medical history to perform the procedure safely. At the moment of the process, the patient will receive regional anesthesia.
- Surgery and recovery

Base price of Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) surgery with unipolar energy at Multimedica Hospital: $65,000. Base price of Transurethral Resection of the Prostate surgery with bipolar energy at SanMaré Hospital: $90,000. The final cost is subject to patient evaluation and may change without prior notice.The package includes the medical fees of two urologists, an anesthesiologist, and a surgical assistant, as well as a follow-up consultation. It also covers the operating room rental, use of equipment and materials, medications during hospitalization, and one night of hospital stay if needed.
It does not include the preoperative consultation, lab tests, medications after discharge, or any additional costs such as special meals or extra nights of hospitalization. The prices shown in this page are in Mexican pesos and include taxes (IVA).
